Is CrossFit Right for me?
ARE YOU SOMEONE WHO:
- Is looking to get in shape but cannot face going to a gym?
- Has lost interest in your current fitness routine?
- Is no longer seeing results with your current training regiment?
- Thinks you do not have time to exercise?
- Is looking to get faster or stronger in your sport?, OR
- Just plain wants to look good in a bathing suit?
Then CrossFit is right for YOU. Every workout is different, and since you will rarely do the same thing twice, you are less likely to lose interest or get bored. Because our workouts are rarely more than 45 minutes long they can fit into even the busiest of schedules. Finally, CrossFit is FUN! Our coaches and participants are welcoming, supportive, and committed to creating an environment where everyone can succeed.
Still a little nervous?
Don't Be! CrossFit will never discriminate against your age or fitness level. Whether you are 50 years old, or have just completed your 50th marathon, are recovering from injury or healing a broken heart, whether walking the dog is the only exercise you have had in years, or you are someone training for the Beast Spartan…CrossFit will help you achieve your fitness goals.
One of the things that makes CrossFit so unique is our community of people from literally every walk of life: stay-at-home parents, elite athletes, students, CEOs, members of the armed services, firefighters, you name it. CrossFit bodies – our bodies – come in every imaginable size, shape and age; and yet, our workouts every day, are designed for anyone to do them.
“Scalability” is a word that you will hear frequently here at CrossFit Utica. During each class, everyone does the same workout, but that workout will always have several scaling options. This makes it possible for all of us – with our different body types, personal goals and levels of ability – to work alongside one another safely. We motivate one another, cheer one another on, and sometimes participate in some healthy competition. But, ultimately, every workout is yours alone. Your workout = your pace.
